Event Details Leland Hot Stove League Banquet Date: 1/10/2008 Time: 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm Location: Leland Middle School, Leland, NC (View Map) Description: Leland Hot Stove League has announced their line-up for the upcoming banquet. Bucky Dent, former World Series MVP with the New York Yankees, will be the featured speaker. Other speakers include 10-year major league veteran Barry Foote, former North Brunswick star Steve Mintz, who is currently a coach in the Minnesota Twins organization, and UNCW Head Coach Mark Scalf. Another former Scorpion star and current Scouting supervisor with the Atlanta Braves will emcee the event.
